Pain & therapeutic
Deep tissue massage
Deep tissue massage uses firm, sustained pressure along specific muscle groups to release knots and long-held tension. It suits people who have had massage before and want more pressure than a relaxation session gives.

Lisa works slowly through the layers rather than leaning hard from the start. That is what lets the muscle release instead of guarding against the pressure. Expect to feel worked-on the next day, the way you would after training.
Tell her where it hurts and how much pressure you actually want. Pressure is set to your tolerance, and it is fine to ask her to ease off mid-session.
Good for
- Chronic neck, shoulder and lower back pain
- Knots that keep coming back
- Desk posture and long driving
- Recovery between training sessions
